Introducing ...
I start from the very beginning, with a deep dive into crochet foundations. All about yarn, crochet hooks, matching the two together to have success in your child's crochet projects.
I then introduce your child to the four most fundamental crochet stitches that form the basis for most crochet projects.
Each crochet stitch is matched with 1-2 kid-friendly crochet projects so they can practice their skills as they progress through the course.
By the end of the course, your child will be able to tackle crochet projects with confidence!

Is your child ready
to join in on the crochet fun?
Absolutely! Don't worry that your child is left-handed. I know both right-handed and left-handed crochet. Lessons for left-handed crochet are included in the course. Students can also reach out to me for help if they need it.
My child is left-handed. Does this course cover left-handed crochet?
2-4 lessons are released each week. Lessons are kept short, so kids can learn in bite-size pieces and have success quickly. The longest video in the course is only 20 minutes! Kids can watch on their own time, whenever suits their schedule.
My child is busy. How much time per week is involved in this course?
The essential materials are yarn (yarn weight #3 or #4), crochet hook in a size that matches their yarn, a sewing needle, scissors, and one hair elastic. I show crochet projects with some different kinds of yarn, but those are optional.
What materials will my child need to complete this course?
